“I just can’t escape from it, it’s everywhere!” says John Pasche, talking about the world-famous Rolling Stones logo he designed back in 1970.

John Pasche is the designer of perhaps music history’s most recognised logo – that of the Rolling Stones’ red lips and tongue, which was first used on the front of their Sticky Fingers album. A Royal College of Art graduate (where Mick Jagger happened to stumble upon him and asked him to design the logo – for which he charged just £50!) and previously Creative Director of London’s Southbank Centre, John has designed many an album cover and tour poster for many a famed artist. He continues to work as a highly credible freelance designer, producing limited edition prints of his work and limited edition canvases.

John has won many awards at the D&AD Awards, Music Week and NME Awards, and his works have been a huge contribution to the visual arts and music cultures of the past four decades.
