We are really pleased to announce the launch of extremely rare limited edition prints, available to buy on Beautiful Crime and handpicked specifically by ‘The Man Who Shot The Seventies’, Mick Rock for Beautiful Crime. The David Bowie images which you can view here are featured in Mick Rock’s latest book published by Taschen, ‘The Rise of David Bowie – 1972 – 1973’.

A highly regarded and globally-recognised portrait photographer, Mick Rock’s work has maintained longevity as an integral part of pop culture’s visual landscape since the 70’s.  Mick Rock has not only photographed the likes of Iggy Pop, Queen, The Sex Pistols, Blondie, Madonna, Roxy Music, Syd Barrett, The Kinks, Freddie Mercury, Motley Crue, Andy Warhol, Ozzy Osbourne, Peter Gabriel and Thin Lizzy (to name a very small selection) but has also shot today’s big success stories including The Killers, Ellie Goulding, The Black Keys, Kate Moss, Daft Punk, Lady Gaga, Snoop Dogg and Dave Grohl, to become one of the greatest portrait photographers of our time.
